U.S. Marshals have announced the rescue of eight children as a result of two operations, ‘Return of the School Year’ and ‘NO Saints and Sinners 2021,’ conducted in the New Orleans metro area over the course of two months.

MUMBAI: Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued 477 runaway children from railway platforms at stations on Central Railway across Maharashtra over the past seven months and reunited them with their parents.
As per information shared by Central Railways, those rescued include 310 boys and 167 girls and were reunited with their guardians with the help of non-governmental organisations like Childline.

April 13, 2021 LYON, France – In an INTERPOL -led crackdown on human trafficking and migrant smuggling, authorities in Africa and Europe have rescued nearly 500 victims of human trafficking - including children - and identified some 760 irregular migrants.
Operation Weka, which means “Stop” in Swahili, was carried out from 28 March to 2 April. Authorities from 24 countries representing source, transit and destination locations progressed investigations and exchanged intelligence to dismantle criminal networks behind key routes.
Coordinated by INTERPOL’s Vulnerable Communities unit, Weka has led to a total of 195 arrests - 88 of for human trafficking and 63 on people smuggling charges. The remaining arrests were on other charges such as document fraud, theft, drugs-related crimes and environmental offenses.
This joint operation was supported by a number of partners, with the International Organization for Migration playing a lead role in victim assistance. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime also provided judicial support, and intelligence was generated by AIRCOP, Europol and the ROCK - AU-Horn of Africa Initiative on Human Trafficking and Migrant Smuggling.SOURCE 1: INTERPOOLSOURCE 2: ABC NEWS

Guwahati: A total of 42 children from Assam have been rescued in Sikkim and brought back to the state on Friday, chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
In the last two years, 80 children have been trafficked from Assam, with some sent to Dubai as well, the accused said during interrogation

During the month of June, the Broward Sheriff’s Office’s Strategic Investigations Division (SID) took part in the Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA) Task Force Operation Breaking Chains. The strategic initiative focused on reducing human trafficking throughout the state and prosecuting those responsible for trafficking individuals. The month-long operation consisted of participation from 16 sheriff’s offices across 16 Florida counties. Collectively, the agencies recovered 29 human trafficking victims, identified 31 human traffickers and made 363 arrests.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KWCH) – The Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) announced Wednesday the rescue of 31 victims of human trafficking for sexual exploitation during a recent operation in Kansas and Missouri. Of the total rescues, 14 were missing children. the youngest was a four-year-old child, and 17 others were adults.
According to a statement from HSI Deputy Special Agent in Charge, Kansas City, James Wright, 82 arrests were made during the effort, which ran from June 17-26 in Wichita, Independence and Kansas City, Missouri.

A series of raids conducted by U.S. Marshals in Georgia resulted in the recovery of 20 missing and endangered children, with over a dozen of the victims suspected of being sex trafficking victims, authorities announced.
The mission dubbed “Operation Not Forgotten 2021” was led in the metro Atlanta area over a two-week period and was the third of its kind, with the previous operation dating back to August 2020.
